Question 383 Stroker LS1 experience needed...

I'm curious how big is too big for a 383 LS6 car being driven weekly on the street? M6 with all the bolt-ons, LT's, and a 3.73 gear.

When does drivability begin to fade with more cubes? Current cam is a 224/228 smallie.

Driveability is more linked to cam size than sheer cubic inchs. A radical cam in a 346 is going to buck and stutter and spit and can be a PITA around town, while a 422 can be built with a cam like yours and idle as smooth as stock.

probably somewhere around 234/234 570ish lift on a 112 and you shouldn't lose much streetability.

Depends on what you can handle.

I have a 244 250 in my Lunati 395 and I drive it 20k miles per year.

It does all depend on your idea of streetable. Some guy's will put up with more than others. If you are picky and want very close to stock manners than I would say around 234@.050 or above you are going to start losing your drivabilty.
You could spread it out on a 114 or wider LSA to help.

So a 236/238 on a 112+4 should have a nice bump then?

I have a 236/240 112LSA +4 in an A4 and the idle is set at 1000rpm. Not bad at all. I don't see a problems with it especially in a M6

Why is your rwtq 431? Is that kind low or is it because you have an A4?

What would that do to the power band? I'm picky but don't need it to be close to stock at all.
