Is it time to pull the motor?
Is it time to pull the motor? Well to sum it up ive cracked the oil pan. In order to replace the pan i would have to pull the motor due to the lack of space in the s10. As of now i have stopped the leak by placing some marine tex on the 3" hairline crack along the bottom of the pan. I want everyones input on what they would do. Can you place a metal sheet that covers the crack and tac it to hold or is this not a good idea? Im placing longtubes and an underdrive pulley on this upcoming week, witch would probably be alot easier with the motor pulled, but if i dont have to pull it i dont want to. And if i do pull it what would be some things to do while its out?
