I did some research and found chromemoly pushrods. My question is are these push rods hydrualic or do I have to switch everything to solid setup?
here is the link to the pushrods:

They are just thicker/stiffer pushrods since the stockers are weak, has nothing to do with a solid setup.

Yup, just better material and thicker walls to make them stiffer. They will drop right in, pushrods are the very first thing I swap in every motor I work on. The stock pushrods bend too easily.
Comp also makes a .105" wall version too, I run the .105" wall myself. The ones you linked to are .080" wall

sweet, I wanted to make sure since the actual text did not specify. I will upgrade them since everything else but rockers is upgraded.
On that point do rocker upgrades depend specifically on the cam and springs you are running? I do not have a cam yet but am running the 26921 dual comp springs.

For GM style heads, the stock rockers are usually the best. Look up the trunion upgrade for them if you are going to rev over 6400-6500rpm for stability and safety.
Stay away from harland sharps. The yella terra ultralights are real good but have recently had a production fault causing a few of them to break.

Yup, upgrade your stock rockers with Comps trunnion kit. I just did it to mine not too long ago. Its only $135 too. (#13702-KIT)

Those are pretty stout, I would personally move up in OD. Thickness doesn't buy much with regards to stiffness.Originally Posted by cfgioja

Are you M6 or A4? I know a lot of guys who don't run chromo on M6 because if you miss a shift your valve could end up hitting the piston..I'd rather have a push rod bend
