Default seafoam ?

i bought some seafoam yesterday for my diesel truck. I was thinking of putting some in my 98 ss too. my question is i have searched seafoam and read you need to change plugs and oil after but i was just going to put it in the gas tank. Would i have to change my oil, filter, plugs, etc just if i put seafoam in my gas tank? any help appreciated.
