Default Oil pressure problems on a fresh 6.0L...

Okay so I just got my built 6.0 tuned in, I drove the car for about a month not reving over 4000rpm and no boost etc. So the other night I tuned it on 8psi and only reved to 6000rpm. I noticed the oil pressure seemed a tad lower 20-25ish idle, figured just hot oil and bc it was break in oil (10w-30).

So i changed the oil to rotella T 15w40, the oil that came out looked fine for it being broken in.

I notice now I get 25psi warm all the time while driving etc, i saw like 35psi on the highway at like 3000rpm then it dropped to 30ish and when i bring the rpms down to 2000ish it went back up.

It doesnt seem to be raising at all tho.

Anyone have an idea? Im gonna put a mechanical gauge on it tomorrow to see if maybe my autometer sended is messed up.
I find it wierd the gauge doesnt seem to move at all while driving in the city.

Also should add I have a melling pump with the regualar spring in it

If your losing psi as the revs go up, your losing oil internally.

well i installed a mechanical gauge and it read about 40psi cold start, and about 60ish when reving to 3-4K. Im gonna take the car for a drive later and see if it drops down alot.

Im also wondering if the spacer plate between the block and pump is seaping or something. So if the oil pressure still isnt right im gonna pull the front cover and see.
