Default Timing cover/ ATI damper install

Can I tighten the timing cover all the way down before putting the damper on or do I leave it loose.

Not sure if the camper will go through the cover right if the cover is torqued down first.

thanks,

Leave the cover bolts loose then install the damper to square up the cover.

You should use a front cover alignment tool.. This will pretty much eliminate any chance of leaks!!!
