I have a 2000 trans am, I'm wanting to get around 450 horses out of it. I was just wondering what kind of heads and cam you guys/girls could recommend for me. I was looking at getting 5.3 heads, or should I stay with the stock heads and have them ported and etc... and also a good cam to match the heads that i will be getting. I don't really want to buy a set of afr's or darts. Any info is helpful. Thanks

 

I was thinking Afr 215's and a custom cam to match the heads and 1 7/8 LT headers but the other way around i will go with PRC 220cc 5.3L Stage 2.5 CNC Ported Heads from texas speed they also have larger valves 2.02"/1.575" compare to the stock 5.3 heads
