crane 1.8 rockers advice
i am putting a ms3 cam and gona try and find a decent set of 243s or go with a prc head idk yet but i came across this guy with crane gold 1.8 rockers. i was planing on keeping those stock. would these give me some good hp or would it be a waste? would these effect any thing else if i did buy this like my push rod length.....? Thanks

Crane rockers require a full kit of rockers, polylocks, guide plates, studs and pushrods. On a stock motor, they require 7.250" rockers. I would not use the 1.8 Crane rockers with the MS3 cam. For starters, the Crane rockers come off the seat very quickly and will reduce PTV over stock rockers. Crane rockers, either 1.7 or 1.8, would reduce the PTV value. You would also need much stiffer valve springs and larger OD pushrods to keep things under control for a minimal gain.
Bottom line, don't buy the rockers with your setup.

I currently have the MS3 cam package for TSP...I got the PRC double valve springs and hardened pushrods but theyre standard 7.400 Length...I know the MS3 is a big lift cam already..would a new set of rocker arms really help...i know it would increase lift but what would the proper selection be??? i have no prob buying the complete kit...i jus want it done right...So im in the same boat as Ss98sS
