Default blue smoke on start-up

i just started my car and a cloud of blue smoke came out for a second... anyone have any idea what this could be?? i just got done putting my motor and pp 5.3's on also, my abs imop came on but i think it is because of the line on the back of the intake, almost possitive.. what could have caused the smoke though... thanks

Was this the first time you started the car up since the head install? Every car I've ever done a head swap on smoked the first time I started them.

If it's only on start up, then oil is seeping in to the cylinder probably from the valve seals like mentioned ealier. If it smokes all the time, Id think the rings are not sealed...
