Default oil pressure gage jumpy
My oil pressure Gage gets jumpy at idle. Sometimes it stays a little jumpy without putting my foot in the gas but when I get on it a little it is fine. Sometimes at idle it'll go down enough that it sounds like it is going to die. But at no time do I hear chatter in the motor like its not getting oil. Could this be a censor problem

The oil pressure sending unit is bad...a common problem on these engines...

Don't mean to sound like a dummy but where is it located. Is it internal from oil pump or is it an external part.

its behind the intake manifold sticking up vertically. veryyy tuff to get it off without taking the intake manifold off or a special tool

I wouldn't even waste my time trying to do it without pulling the intake. You'll save more time just doing it, than trying to work around it.

Just looked. Man that looks impossible lol. Definitely gonna take the intake off to get to it.
