Blower cam on a stock LS6
Blower cam on a stock LS6 Hello All!
I am getting an ECS paxton Novi installed on my car with a dual nozzle alky kit and an RPS twin disc clutch. I am looking at getting a blower cam from ECS so that I can make 600+ whp but I am afraid of blowing up my motor. My friend blew the motor on his C5Z running the same blower kit I have on mine at 8psi, mentioning an issue with the ring lands. I am looking for longevity but some decent power at the same time. Would it really be safe to run a blower cam on a stock motor?
Some additional information about my car is it has Comp 918 valve springs on a stock motor with 92,000 miles
