how strong have you guys made your 347's? im planning on running a 100shot on it when i go out and play on the street. and when i go to the track i plan on running a 200shot. the car is usually raced once or twice a weekend if not more. but i usually only go to the track once a month. if anyone could give me any input thatd be great .
With forged rods and pistons, that will be no problem. I would recommend going with a Wiseco piston since they will come with a stainless/napier ringset and a good forged h-beam rod like a Callies Compstar. Depending on the head you are going to run, you want to get the compression up around 11:1 since nitrous likes compression! It will make a little more power for you. However, with a 200+ HP shot, as long as your tune-up is on, you shouldn't have a problem out of the parts. As always have a good experienced builder who is familiar with LS engines do the assembly!

I made 460 through mine n/a, and hit it for a year with a 200 plate kit before going to a new motor. It still is running excellent.
I love 347s!
Mine was Crower rods, Mahle pistons, file fit rings, and balanced rotating assembly.

My 347 in my 2001 Trans-Am put down 490/443 n/a with an A/F ratio that is a still kinda fat (12.7-12.8). It will be getting a 100 hit sometime this winter. It has:
Stock LS1 crank
Callies forged compstar rods
Diamond Racing pistons
Total Seal ring set
Patriot stg. 2.5 heads (243 based)
11:1 compression
FAST 92 Intake w/ NW 92mm throttle body.
Thunder Racing TReX cam.
Texas Speed 1 7/8" ceramic coated headers.
7k rpm redline.
The gofastgas setup is a 92mm plate kit from Nitro Dave.
