Default Need help guys!!!
How many bottles of III fluid does this motor take? I've put in 8 so far and It still isnt full n i checked the oil bolt and its tight?

I'm new to camaros, I was always into imports before i found american muscle.

HELP.

III fluid?
are you talking about transmission fluid?

and what exactly are you trying to fill?

This should be good. I don't think an LSx engine requires 8 bottles of anything.

The engine fill cap on top of the motor

I put in 8 bottles of III fluid and it still hasnt reached to top of the fill hole.

again.. what is the III fluid you are talking about?

post a picture or something..

the only III that is possible is transmission fluid.. dexron/mecron 3

4L60E takes about 8 qts Just keep checking the dipstick.. engine must be running and tranny in neutral
get 4 or 5 in there before you start it up

T56 takes around 4qts

I have a 408 that runs mid 11's in the 1/4 mile on street tires and pump gas.....
and I'm still getting 25mpg on the highway...

11s on pump? ... ha okay...

I dnt know a lot about V8s but i know hondas on pump wont run 11s...

n theres the pic of the fluid i was told to put in.

i've never changed my oil, alwas had jiffylube do it but i figurd id save some moeny and know its done right ya know?

its correct for the transmission.. but I need a pic of where you are putting the fluid into...

specifically.. where is this fill cap that you are poring this into....

it says engine oil on tha cap and I thought this was engine fluid... i tought mercIII was like synthetic fluid? these cars have more fluids besides engine fluid and raditor fluid?

should i drain the fluid i have in there right now and start over wit diff fluid??? or should i keep filling it till i see it come out the fill hole...

I need to know guys, im gettin sleepy n i gotta drive 2 work tomororw.
