prc head question on hp gains
prc head question on hp gains hi everyone I have a completly stock internally ls1. now i want to add heads and cam. now I have a budget which isn't very much. now I'm looking at the prc either the 2.5 5.3 heads or the ls6 1.0 heads. which will yeild more power? I will have long tubes 7/8 and ls6 intake amd throttle body along with ms4 cam. this will be a track car that is driven every once in a while. thanks

get the ls6 stage 1 heads with a torquer 3 cam,it will average better power then the ms4.the ms4 needs a big stall or a great clutch and gears.the ms4 will have a very close piston to valve clearence,and probably require piston fly cutting.bigger dose not make faster.
Both will do very well for you. I like the LS6 heads because they can be easily upgraded down the line if you decide to get crazy!
