Default cam/springs question

I'm thinking of upgrading my current cam to either a TR 230/224 or the TSP 231/237(help on this would be appreciated too ). Anyways my question is should I put in new valve springs with the swap? Currently running the Crane duals with about 3k miles on them. I didn't know if the higher lifts would affect the springs since they are already heat cycled to the TR224?

I have read a few threads on here where people were reusing their old springs with their new cams. I have not read cases where any problem was directly corelated to doing that, so I do not think you will have any problems.

arent crane duals rated to .650? you should be fine there. go with the tsp231 or bigger, the tr224 to tr230 isnt worth the swap.

JP, what do you do when it comes time for the e-check? A TR224 on a 112 is borderline as it is now... Or do they even do the e-check in Holly Springs?
