Planning on a cam swap and I'm trying to get things together. I plan on running Comp Cams 918 beehive springs. Would I get any weight savings by going with Comp Cams valve locks and Comp Cams steel retainers over the stock locks and retainers? Or should I keep the stock retainers and valve locks?

Also, are the patriot golds kit 8401 a lighter alternative?
