Default Couple of questions before I start wasting money

Would like to use the set of LS6 243's I have on my LQ4.

1. Will I have any PTVC issues with a stock head gasket and a TR224 cam with stock pistons?

2. Should I use the LS2 head gasket with the 243's and 6.0 or is there a different MLS gasket I should use?

3. On the TR224 with a set of 3.73 gears, what would a suggested stall be? 2000-2400?

Appreciate any help

243's are small bore. Use LS1 gaskets. Stall should be 3200-3500 comfortably, and the 243's will work great with that cam. I used stock 243's and 224R, made 430rwhp through an M6. No PTV issues at all.

I've got a 220/224 .581/.581 cam and 243 heads milled .035. No PTV issues.

Ah shoot I missed that part. Yes stock bolts will be fine, and you were right you need the 6.0 gasket. For some reason I was thinking LS1. You will make some good power with that setup, killer low end torque.

Awesome that's all I need is the low torque. Highest speed limit around here is 50

Once again appreciate the replies
