Default Need advice on my lq4 build

Ok I have a 2007 lq4 I am going to build for my 2000 TA. Car is full weight with 3:42 gear but may change to 3:73s, 3200 stall etc. Car runs 7.80s in the 1/8th with stock ls1, drag radials, full exhuast and tune. Motors just getting wore out. I want a good streetable motor that I can build and just swap in so the car wont be apart for too long, that I can spray maybe 125. I was thinking I would swap some forged flattops in, have my heads worked and decked just a tad. They are the 317s. Good rod bolts, etc. MY questons are...... what piston should I go after? I planned on forged but can a stock ls2 or LQ9 piston work? what cam suggestion? CAN stock crank and rods with good bolts handle my abuse? I see people all the time spraying stock ls1s with a ton of gas and lasting. I am going to have the crank turned 10/10. OR do I need to just save up for good rods, pistons, and crank? ANY and ALL advise is welcome but I will be keeping my 317s so I need to make up CR with the pistons. THANKS in advance

dont know the status of your short block, but in my opinion:

put some rod bolts in the lq4, throw in a good cam that responds well to n20 but is not to wild (driveability) , run the 317's (9.5:1 on the lq4 i believe) and spray a 125-150. just my .2

The motor has 80k and a slight bottem end noise at high rpms when its warm. I replaced it at work with a new gm long block and payed the core and kept the old motor. I would think it would need the crank turned and freshened up. I am atleast going to put flattops in it when I do it. I want to be able to spray a 125. Not everytime I run but every now and then.
