Stock LS1 you can hold 150hp shot on a wet setup...On stock bottome end...Get a tune for it to double check the timing and the A/F ratio while on the bottle....you can get a basic wet kit (Nozzle setup) for around $600...If u have $2,000 then i would go ahead with a nice Cam package that comes with forged pushrods and double valve springs...Cam,Springs,Pushrods will run you around $900 depending on type so you can do a cam install and have the juice for $2,000.00...Best way for max hp in my opinion...

they will go 200 shot easy on a good tune. and id do stall and headers before a cam.and a ls6 or bigger intake. or hell do what i did and do cam/ valve train, stall, headers, all at once

Are you going to be taking this to the track? Or do you want to just brag about big numbers? If you are going to be going to the track, I'd suggest a nice stall and 3.73's for the rear end. Then get a cam and intake. I personally would hold off on the nitrous since that **** scares me and i'd fear that it would mess up something that would be out of my budget to replace

High stall is a must. Who gives a **** about dyno numbers when your shaving 5-8 tenths off your quarter mile?

Gonna need a converter if your going with a cam,and if you do that should put a tranny cooler in as well...You can go along way with simple bolt ons and some juice. Cams not gonna give you overall satisfaction if it can't breathe or get the gas out. I would go with a lid, k&n poss p&p tb, do and ls6 intake and put an exhaust system on it. If you still have some $$ left you could do some laughing gas......Good luck. Research and research some more..
