I am running a comp cam XE-R 232/236 .595/.601 @ 114 lsa. It has a PP TB, port matched ls6 intake, stock pulley, stock airbridge, TPIS through cats, GHL exhaust and Donaldson Blackwing.
The car dyno'd 420.5/389 SAE yesterday.
The numbers from the heads seem to flow very well, but I'm not sure they huge intake valve is doing much for the heads in terms of velocity, which is very important. Would it be worth switching to a 'new' patriot ls6 head (or really whoever), ie could I pick up 20-30 hp more? To me, a heads/cam ls6 should be doing higher than 420.
Post the graph so other people can pick apart where you might be lacking.

I have a dyno run downloaded (can view with a dyno viewer), can anyone host it?

FWIW, I was told by Wade at ARE that they have a new cnc program that he is getting MORE power out of 5.3 heads than ls6 heads now. They got 431 sae through a 3300 stall, 4.10 12 bolt automatic. The car ran 10.7 on motor alone.

If ARE says they have 5.3 that make more power I would ask them about a "DEEP" discount if you turned in your heads, otherwise stay away. I still say giving up a real set of LS6 heads is a NO NO. I am sure that over sized valves would hurt your performance a little but I would be looking elsewhere for power adders before doing a head swap.
Our new heads with smaller valves (2.02-2.04) make more HP and TRQ than any of the older packages like the one you have. We stick behind our products and will work something out with you that works for everyone.

That's got to be the funniest thing I've read in a long time on this board. Stand behind stuff? What a joke.
ARE was banned as a sponsor for not paying dues and lousy customer service. Buyer be ware.
If your a long distance customer read up on the ARE crowd and their well know horrific customer service. ARE has a well earn reputation for screwing long distance customers well before Nick left.
Greg,
I'd keep the real LS6 heads over the PP LS6 style heads.

. keep the heads
