Default Finally got my cam installed

I got LT's headers installed 2 or 3 weeks ago (as JRP may be aware of). I got my cam installed this past weekend. I got the car back Sunday afternoon and had to drive back home for an hour and a half. I didn't floor it any on the ride home. I went over to my brothers to show him how it sounded. We went out for a ride and took the video camera. We went to a back road so I could abuse the tires one time. I didn't think the difference would be very noticeable after the cam. I was wrong. I was very suprised My car pulls a lot harder. Anyway, I find a good spot and my brother gets out to film. I power break a little to get the tires moving and let off the break and slide the shifter into second gear. My car proceeded to bounce off of the rev limiter in second gear at around 85 mph until I caught traction about 200 feet later. I will post the video as soon as I can. My point in writing this post is if someone is thinking about a cam go for it! You won't regret it. I am very very happy. Now traction IS a issue with my car.

Yes you can definately hear that I have a cam. It will probably mellow out after the tune but it sound cool as hell. I have a video of it idling too. I will post both vids as soon as I can get them off my camera and on my computer. I might need some one to host the videos though.

Sounds good can't wait to hear the video. I am looking at getting a cam but can't decide what to go with. I have been looking at the 224-224 224-228 228-230 228-234 I can't decide between these four. I also have a auto with a stall and all the bolt on's with the bottle.

The low end doesn't feel much stronger. At worst the low end is the same but the mid range and the upper range are definately stronger. If I had to guess I would say that it is between 25 and maybe 35 rwhp. So far I am happy as can be.

It hasn't bucked at all taking off. Takes off like a champ. It bucked one time yesterday but I was driving and the car was in 4th gear and the rpm's were right on 1000. I shifted into 3 and it stopped.

Congrats on the cam install. It's well worth it, as you've experienced.

That sounds like what I am looking for in a cam. Where did you buy this cam at?
