Question Will Cartek H cam work in a SC application

I have a 98 vette 6-speed with Cartek stage II head/cam (INT-222 EXH-226 .567" LIFT, 113 LSA). The compression is about 10.8:1. If I change the heads to the PP stage II perimeter bolt heads that yield about 10.1:1 compression, can I use the Cartek aforementioned cam in a supercharger application.

I have the Cartek "M" cam (218/222- .562 113LSA) It should work with that combo. I have the PP 5.3's.

not on a 113 youll be loosing way too much boost. you will wind up having to go to a smaller pulley and risking maxing out your impeller speed. i wouldnt go any smaller then a 114 lsa.
You should look into Absolute Speed 6.0 heads. they seem to be making great power on fi cars. he is also running a sale on them right now.

My friend had a supercharged car that ran on a 112LSA and it ran fine with no problems. He did have to lower the comp a little though.

A 113LSA isnt gonna make that much of a difference in most cars. For Mike M it will because he has been building his car for 2yrs and wants every last bit of power out of it.I know plenty of guys that ran 112 to 116 LSA with blowers and made plenty of power.
