Big Duration Split Vs. Small Duration Split (N/A App.)
I have been reading camshaft's lately and I keep getting stuck on one thing. Would a big duration split (Exhaust duration being a lot longer or farther away from the intake duration #) be better/worse than a smaller duration split cam (closer exhaust to intake split) at making power on a N/A motor and why?
Example: The EPS "All Motor" camshaft line have HUGE Split's (12+), while other company's maybe have little (6 and under) to no split.
It might be a dumb question but I really wan't to know.

I will say Geoff from EPS has designed cams for some of the fasted naturally aspirated cars in the country. You'd be best off to give him a call and maybe he will explain his reasoning.
"Usually" a large split cam will either be a nitrous friendly cam, or you need it bc either your heads are just that much better than your intake. Or vice versa. You pick your cam to your parts like always said. As for an na car I would just go with a standard split like a 230/230.
