Hey Ac,

Here is a link to some pretty impressive results:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...k-results.html

The nice thing about the eps lobes is that they are very easy on valve springs compared to xer, lsl and lsk lobes! Contact Patrick G or Geoff they can provide you with better details!

Thanks guys Ill forward him the info. Any other suggestions?
He is not looking to build a drag car but a great all around car that he could possibly auto-x. BTW I was joking when I said slow. The car has gone 12.3 Bone stock.

He will do all the supporting mods needed without a doubt. My car has been 11.6@120 NA leaving a lot on the table with LE stock ported heads/ intake & custom cam . His has been 12.3@113 so he has some work to do, but im sure it will go faster once he has the same mods. Again he doesnt want a drag car, just a wicked DD type car.

w/ LTs + CAI + cam he should be 400+ rwhp easy maybe hitting 420. After that it all depends on how much $$$ he wants to sink into the top end.

I'd call up TSP (actually going to probably order my cam swap parts through them).

Hes got the money just not sure who does the best LS porting/custom cams. Im sure Speedinc will handle a lot of the odds and ends + the tune. I agree about Lloyd being the man when it comes to LT stuff but dont know much about his LS stuff.

I would seriously consider AI if I was in your buddy's shoes.

And yeah for a cam I would use Geoff for a custom. FWIW the Comp LSL lobes used in their LSR line of cams are are EASIER on the valvetrain than the Comp X-ER, LSK lobes...

If he's from IL just have him call Speed Inc. I just went 10.91@125 "cam only" with one of their SI5 cams (231/237 .589/.595 112 lsa).

Not tryin to argue but don't Geoff @ eps use his own "lsg" lobe? are they not different than lsl lobe, correct me if Im wrong? I agree from everything I have read the eps lobes are definately easier on springs... If I ever get a cam it would be from him!!

Ac, in that link I posted, he made 430whp w/ a stock ls6 long block and ls6 intake!! That was thru a stalled a4 too! he went low 11's @120+. I think if your buddy went with that cam, he would see upwards of 450whp thru the m6 and drive like stock!! Pretty sure that cam was designed specifically for a stock headed ls6 motor...

Yes Geoff uses a proprietary lobe he developed but they are similiar. He and I discussed this when I ordered my cam from him......
