I blew 4 pistons on a stock engine boosting. The whole engine is out of the car ready to be built now. I am going to upgrade the pistons and rods for boost. I am thinking of getting the stuff from Thunder bc of their sale right now.

I am thinking of going with:
Diamond Turbo Pistons -8.6cc valve relief
Lunati Rods
ARP Studs

Anyone object to doing this? Or suggest something else/additional? I know it would be great to do heads/cam while its all apart but I dont have the money right now.

So will these things be ok for a stock engine? I plan on boosting maybe 8-10psi. Can I safely do this with just upgrading the pistons/rods and not the heads/cam?

Or any other suggestions/parts I should do while the engine is apart?

I am not looking for outrageous power. Goal ~ 425-450RWHP

Thanks

Just to clear things up, I am not spraying with the turbo...the tnt kit is long gone. future plans for the car are the turbo system. Car also has headers, pulley, converter(3500), shift kit. It hauled *** with the sts kit. Felt like 5lb spring pulled harder than the tnt 100 jets. Problem is, I was detonating with the turbo and thats where i am now....4 blown pistons....
