Looking to make 400+ rwhp I have a 2005 gto a4 I've added Kooks 1 7/8 headers and a k@n cai. I'm ready to install a new cam and springs. What cam is recommended to help me acheieve this goal?
when picking a cam we need to know a little more than that like what kind of driveability and usage ud like to get out of the car what kind of future mods your going to do etc. And first off it would really be in your best interest to do a stall converter first they really are a must with a cam in an a4 car without one yu will not get the full benefits from the cam and the car will not drive very good either. All of the above affects cam choice but in short a small-med size cam in an ls2 will easily make 400 rwhp. Btw your 05 gto uses the ls2 engtine so next time you post the gen IV section is the right place.
