Im building a 5.3 for offroad use, so I'm trying to get as much grunt out of it as I can. This is kinda the oppostie direction I usually go in so I need some suggestions please. Right now, I'm thinking basiclly just stock or maybe mildly ported 5.3 heads and a small cam. something like 206 212@.050 and 513/520 lift. stock intake and throttle body with longtubes. Again I'm not trying to build an all out screamer just get a little more ***** down low.
Anybody got any comments or ideas?
Is there any specific head work I would get done?
anything special I can do to make more torque?
