i've been told i need to find an lq9 that has 24x reluctor. which years/vehicles/ had that? does anyone just happen to know that info? i'm getting ready to go pick up one out of a 04 escalade esv.....

 

LQ4/9 are all GEN III which means they are all 24x (black crank sensor)

GEN IVs had a front mount cam sensor, external knocks and gray crank sensors. Some of the early ones like the 05 GTO LS2 were still 24x so you just have to look
