Default Cam install questions

Plan on installing a cam soon in a 1999 camaro ss. Anyone did the install themselves and did you do it with the motor in the car? Need some input, what problems to look out for etc.

Yes, you can do it with the motor in the car. My only advice is this...If you never have done it before, either A) Get someone to help you that knows exactly what they are doing, or B) Take it to a shop and get it done. There is too much to screw up if you don't know what you are doing.

Look for the sticky labeled cam guide. There's a link to a good write up in it. Also do a search. Someone wrote up some additional info and tips that weren't included in the previously mentioned write up.
