Crank difference LS1, LS6 I have an LS6 from an 04 CTS-V, and the tranny (T-56) won't work with my project. I moved to a 4th Gen Camaro T-56, and the tail shaft is about 1/4" longer.
Is there a difference in the LS1/LS6 crank?
Would a trans spacer work to take up the extra length?

I assume you mean input shaft. There should be no difference in the dimensions of the crank. You just need to remove the roller pilot bearing that fits at the end of the crank and install the pilot bushing or roller that fits into the smaller bore of the crank. Doing this well let the input shaft slide farther into the crank.
For some reason the V uses the larger ball bearing type pilot bearing where the F-body's use the bushing that goes into the crank farther.
