Wow I never thought Id get people pssed off in my thread.

I have not had a chance to check out the linkage yet. I had a death in the family last week and the memorial service is tomorrow. I will be able to get to it on wednesday. The grounds are connected to the back of the drivers side head. I am also going to check out the spark plugs and make sure all the injectors or on properly.

To get to the linkage do I just need to take the entire center console off? Or do I get to get the car back on the ramp and get under the car?

UPDATE:

I checked the linkage and it was fine. I realized that it was extremley low on transmission fluid, so I filled it up. I am still having a hard time getting the key to turn, but wiggling it around it will eventually turn and the car will start.

Back to the transmission. I am still able to, with the car off and foot off the brake pedal, press the **** down on the shifter and put it in any gear. With the car off and in park with the e-brake off, the car will not roll anywhere. With the car on, foot on the brake, I can put the shifter in any gear and it will engage in that gear. I will put it in reverse and it will wanna go in reverse.

With the car running and in park, I can rev it slightly and it will rev up (oil pressure goes up to) and when it tries to idle again it will die, I believe that is due to running rich.

Just to verify a few things, cam is installed dot to dot (I assume you didn't degree the cam)?

GM Rocker procedure was followed for stock rocker arms?

Are you throwing any codes such as 0300? If so, can you isolate a cylinder?

Have you pulled the plugs to check for non-firing plugs?

Yes dot-to-dot was done when I installed the cam

Rockers were installed correctly

The only code I have recieved was P1635

I have pulled the plugs, but I will probably pull em again this weekend and double check

Well I can get the car started and it has trouble idling. If I give it gas and have it reving around 2000 rpms it will stay runnung for a few seconds and die out. I still need to check the spark plugs for fouledlugs or fuel soaked plugs. Any other ideas?
