LS6 Timing Chain & Oil Pump?

LS6 Timing Chain & Oil Pump?
I finally ordered the TSP 228R cam kit for my 02 Z06 LS6. I've been reading threads on the timing chains and oil pumps. Stock single chain or double chain, new sprockets or not? Some oil pumps don't fit with double chains. My best guess is to buy a standard double chain kit and a LS6 ported oil pump. Is the bottom sprocket on the crank hard to change?

Also, if you want something stronger than the LS2 chain (which is a good upgrade over the LS6 chain) you should look at the IWIS/Katech chain sold by Thunder Racing (among others). It is stout, but does not get you into a double.

With 64K on the car, it's time for everything new. I like a double chain. I am a road racer so endurance is really important to me. Buy the strongest chain you can find, with heat treated sprockets.

just buy a double roller there cheap like $150 or less and get a ls6 oil pump. The bottom sprocket isnt hard to change. When you buy a double roller it comes with shims to put behind the oil pump.
