Overlap (Duration & LSA) is what makes a cam lopey or not, as well as idle rpm. Lift doesn't really have anything to do with how a cam sounds.

Get the cam you want for your combo, if you want it to lope more drop the idle 100-200rpm and tune it to run.

My G5x2 on stock idle sounded like a top fuel car, but tuned better at around 900rpm still lopes good; but not stupid like some people like. :p

I've heard a lot of good stuff about this cam, but I've heard better things about the ms4. As far as an everyday street car...That all depends on your tuner.
