Default heads799or???

well i got 799 already but before i put on is it worth getting a set of tsp 2.5 or patriots mine have been port n polished well really polished more then porting was very minimal.so with that said will my heads work good or just buy a set, is there enough horse power differance ?? also im running lq9 and i found some 58cc 2.5tsp heads but is that gonna give me to much compression???

A ported head will get you more power for sure. It comes down to if you have the cash and wanna spend it for that extra 20hp or so.

I would say its a close guess. The 799/243 heads flow pretty decently. If you were going from say an ls1 241 head to a stage 2.5 then I would say 40-50whp gain

what cam are you using? bigger the cam the more need for ported heads.you could run small chamber heads and lower your dynamic compression with a bigger cam.get the heads you need and then get the cam to best work with them.
