Re: oil pressure ?
What type and weight of oil are you using? Coventional or Synthetic? 5W30? 10W30? How many miles on the motor? Are you sure the dipstick is reading full?
When I had a stock oil pump, I would see about 30-35 at warm/hot idle with 5W30 synthetic oil. But I have an A4 and it idled at 650rpm in park.
21 does seem knida low unless you've got a lot of miles on the motor...

Re: oil pressure ?
I'm just about to hit 32,000 miles and I run Moble 1 , 10W30 oil.
850 RPM idle = about 25lbs
2000 RPM (6th gear at 80 mph) = 40lbs
4500 RPM and up = 60lbs
I noticed these pressures after I did my head/cam install and upgraded my oil system hoses (have an oil cooler and remote filters). I was not really worried but I still decided to ask around. Everyone I talked to agreed that those numbers (which you also have) are quite normal.
Here is a somewhat check list you can go through:
1) How quick does the oil pressure come up on cranking? My oil pressure is almost at 20lbs before the engine even fires off.
2) What is the warm idle pressure and does the oil pressure hold steady (not bounce around)?
3) When you go to WOT (sustained), does your oil pressure hold steady there?
4) When you return to idle, does the pressure go to where it was the last time you idled?
Hope this helps,
Chris
