question about an MS4

question about an MS4 One of my buddies has a 5.3 in his silverado and is interested in buying my cam/prods/springs off of me at the end of the month when i put my TRex in.
Will that cam fit in a 5.3? Hes got a 2500 stall and 4.56 gears sitting in his garage waiting for a reason to put them in and i figure i might as well make some money and help a friend out

It will fit, but that is A LOT of cam for a 5.3... He would be better off going with something like a torquer 2, and thats even pushing it a bit in my book.. Especially if he has stock heads and intake.
Let me put it to you this way, the 5.3 will be a pig down low and probably would need to spin to around 7200 in order to see the full potential of the cam.

i know its a lot of cam for a 5.3, **** when you get down to it its a lot of cam for a 5.7. I really think he doesnt give a **** and it would be nice selling the parts to a friend and not hacing to deal with everything lol. Truck has headers and an intake, everything else is 100% stock
