LS1 Rocker arm selection ??
LS1 Rocker arm selection ?? Soon I'll be starting to get parts for a small build on my '00 C5 and am now trying to figure out the proper rocker arms to use. I understand the stock LS1 rocker arms are not an excellent choice for bigger cams over .550 lift. I do not know any cam geometry as of now due I'm getting a custom cam from Camshaft Innovations and I need to supply them all engine details along with rocker arm selection. I'm just looking for which rocker arms would be a good replacement over the stock LS1 rockers. Would LS6 or LS7 rockers be a better/feasible replacement? Keep in mind my Vette is a street car and due to the LS1 will have a stock shortblock, I won't be running it past 6,500 rpm. So spending the money for the best/most expensive rockers on the market is overkill.

-PRC 220cc 5.3L stage 2.5 cnc ported heads from Texas Speed
-Replacement lifters & push rods
-Camshaft Innovations custom cam (yet to be designed)
-Double roller timing chain

-80mm or 85mm MAF
-CAI
-1 3/4" LT headers & 3" X-pipe

Yeah like vettenuts said "stock heads". Porting does nothing to affect geometry so the trunion upgraded stockers are really your best option..... Lighter and stronger than about anything else out there....
The ductile iron guides in the OEM heads are tough so you'll be fine...
