Default ls7 lifters question

so I bought ls7 lifter from a guy and I noticed 1 was different...so I have 15 Ls7 lifters and 1 stock one..if I run it like this will it cause a problem? Or should I just go buy a whole new set?

You can buy them individually I believe from GMPP.

Will the LS7 lifters work fine with the stock pushrod length? Anything else required for LS7 install?

The LS7 lifters are taller so you will need shorter PRs. I recommend picking up some LS2 lifter trays as well.

I would get a new set seller seams suspect, they sell any where from 115-150 a set.

LS7 lifters are a direct replacement for the LS1 lifters. I have put them in a couple of cars without changing pushrod length.

If you are running the 7.400's right now and they work for your setup, changing to LS7 lifters will not change anything. They are a direct replacement.

Here's my input. A very trusted sponsor of the site said stock length is fine.I measured mine just to be safe for my cam and came up with 7.310 and went with .090 preload for my valvetrain to be quite.works just fine. And lastly GM doesn't put different pushrods in when they replace them.so if you have a stock cam you'll be fine but you could measure just to be safe

I have LS7 lifters and bought them when I bought my heads and cam from TSP. I was told to measure lifter preload and after I ended up with a 7.40 pushrod length. It's been a while since I did my swap but I believe I ended up with .060 lifter preload.
