Looking for more
So the new motor has 4000 miles on it and it is starting to feel slow again.
I am debating and looking for opinions.
Right now I have a 370 (LQ4) with 230/232 .613/.598 (Pred Z cam), PRC 5.3 stage 2.5 heads, LS6 intake, LT's, 3"true duals, UDP, ETC running 12:1 compression.
I am debating going with L92 heads, different (bigger, more aggressive) cam, and LS3 intake, offsetting the cost by selling my heads, intake and cam. Would this be a worthwhile swap as far as $$$$/power ratio?
Other idea is swapping heads to lower my compression and adding a procharger, obviously costing MUCH more.
Or any othere ideas. NO2 is not an option.
Please voice opinions.
Wouldn't I still have to swap heads to lower my compression with NO2 as 12:1seems high for NO2? If I go with a power adder it would be a procharger/turbo so the power is always there and not have to worry about bottles/etc. I have nothing against it, just seems like a hassle to me. The nearest refilling place is 50 miles away also.
The 400+ stroker route is the route I wished I had gone, but funds limited my unexpected 370 build. It was a build that started out just heads/cam LS1 until we found bad cam bearings in the LS1 and it went down hill from there as the LQ4 block I got had a scored cylinder wall, hence where the 370 came from. At the time using the stock crank, LS2 rods and Diamond pistons seemd the best bang for the buck route as I had not planned for a complete rebuild.
In all honesty, with the stroker at this point, I would sell my 370 and then buy a complete long block and not worry about reusing my block. I guess I will need to get dyno graphs/numbers so hopefully make the sale easier.
I would prefer to get back to an aluminum block also, but not a big issue if I don't. Now the Procharger is looking cheaper.

IDK-I had so many issues with the unexpected last build, I am "gun shy" I guess and want to make sure I do it right this time.
Looking for serious options to get me at/over the 500rwhp mark. I am very confident that I am solid into the 450rwhp range now.
