Default another rod bolt question

decided to order some katech rod bolts, going in a 100k lq4. If I pull the rod caps off and inspect the bearings will I have to replace the bearings and will there be more of a chance to distort the rod? or is it better to pull one bolt at a time and not worry about the bearings?

Do not remove the caps. They are "seated" and might not be replaced in the exact spot removed.
Do 1 bolt at a time and remove the ferrules.

What if you want to replace the bearings along with the bolts or is this not a good idea to spilt them?

Why do you need to remove the ferrules?
