228/232- My car drives like stock, has a nice flat torque curve and pulls great right up to 6500 (power does not 'fall off' at all). This is how the car should have come from the factory in my opinion.

ill step in here til turk can give u his response. the lobes are pretty "lazy" as they geared to not kill the springs and makes it easy to maintain stability of the valvetrain with popular/cost efficient components. therefore they shouldn't be too much more than .600 but still give lift where and when needed to make great power.

Thunder Racing has a new line of Cams out. Marketing says they're good all around. Just my $0.02.
I've always liked their grinds. Or PM PatG and tell him what you are looking for.

bayer-z28, theres no surprise TR released cams of that category as most of these companies are updating their 22X duration cams from the great results had from the now dated 224 cams. hint, hint guys this is no coincidence. this duration range is a sweet spot for an bolton 3400+lbs street/strip ls1

I've got a PatG custom and it has a nice curve (From what I can see. TSP chopped the graph) ... Flat tq curve and carries to 6700 witout falling off. Great street manners. I've always said that those HUGE cams for a h/c bolt on LS1 were overkill and it seems like the more mild cams are coming back strong.

226/230 .598/.600 114

As streetable as it is, I kinda wish I had gone with something in the 230/234 range. Overall I am happy with the gains.

A lot of it's in the tune as well so be sure you get yourself a dyno tune afterward.
^ both great cams.

I made 402/378 with a 227/233 cam.

Katech LS1 Torquer - same as Z06 with smaller LSA and use 1.8 ratio rocker arms to make it a little more radical on lift. You will be amazed at drivability, torque, and it is relatively easy to tune. Talk to Katech if you want a cam that is awesome without going with the long duration cams that are more difficult to tune.
