well you would be better off going with 918s and a 224 cam being your first ls1 and cam. IMHO.....

why the shorter PR's??!! I had 7.400's on my stg 2 mti heads with their X1 cam....I did do the SMART THING and run Rev Dual springs...any lift above .550 and not having duals ur asking for A LOT of trouble. AT LEAST get the new Manley Duals that fit in the stock spring space. I went w/the bigger Rev Duals that required machining......

Go Cheap.....blow up...do it right...win races...my moto

I agree ... I don't think you're going to be happy with such a large cam as your cherry popper.

first off, you guys are dicks, but its funny though

the 918s are good up to 600 or 610 lift(something around there) and many people have used them with big cams so it will work, but personally i wouldn't do anything but dual springs

and Josey which Rev Duals do you have because I'm almost positive the 1116s don't require machining

ROTFL!!! What an idiot.

Yeah you're right ... go with the springs that will cost you 30 dollars less, then just replace your engine when you break it .... good call.

1) 80,000 miles ... yeah you're probably right, the engine is almost shot.

2) Your g/f won't let you have a new motor?

3) "so think i am real smart " - Yep, you sure do sound quite intelligent...

4) Another reason you are an idiot is because you continue believing a shop that is obviously ripping you off over and over again.

www.thunderracing.com - do yourself a favor and go check out how much dual springs cost.

This is what happens when the Street Racing and Kills gang roams over to the Internals. Advice with smacktalk.

Definately do not pair Comp 918's with a .600 lift cam. (oh crap, I have 918's with a .598/.595 cam ). Anyhow, definately get the dual springs.

I'm over here all the time ... it's just you don't normally find people like this over here ... most of the people that ask questions in this section usually want to hear the answers/opinions of the people on the board .... not just state how they already know everything, when in fact they are doing it wrong.
