Default Help me pic heads!

Ls1 block
Tuned for E85 fuel
853 heads (With recess) 10,1:1 comp and 2" intak valve or
862 heads 11,1:1 comp and 1,89" intake valve.
Truck intake, headers, no cats.

Is it possible to modify the valveseats for 2" valves on the 862 heads?

Thanks in advance

i'd opt to a set of 799 heads if its in the budget. But, given your choices i'd have the valve seats cut on the 862's to accept a 2" valve and take advantage of the higher compression. You could also have the 853's milled to bump compression but i dont think they flow as well as the 862's (i could be wrong).

Thanks for your reply!
I live in Norway and LS parts is hard to find..
But I have these heads, and the plan was to use the 853's but my MLS gaskets did not fit the recess heads..
Then I start looking on my 862's.
But can I mill the seats so 2" valves fit or must I replace the seats?

You SHOULD be able to have your seats cut to accept a 2" valve.
