What to do with heads? Ive searched Well I bought a set of older TEA stage 2 853 heads and I have a set of 243 Ls2 castings. Im looking to mill the 853's down for more quench, but not shure what is safe, they are just currently resurfaced. Id like to see 11-11.5:1. I have the 243's and obviously could use those to get the compression. I guess im just lost on the route I want to go?
I currently have a 224-228 581-588 on 112 cam and am currently talking to other members on buying the FAST90-92 setups. I am going to go with a bigger cam latter, reason for manifold first is to port match the heads to it. It will be a lot easier off the car. If I sell some more stuff then I will get a custom cam and do it all at once. I know I can fly cut which I may just do for insurance. What would you guys do??
Car is just a weekend toy so no worries on if its not a perfect driver, just wana go faster
