i am running Jay's ported heads too , 241 castings flowed to 300 cfm with ferria 2.0/ 1.57 race valves,
I was up in the air about lifters too during my engine build, i chose the LS7 lifters because they were worknig good for a lot of others, the Cadi lifter crack so dont get those, and com lifts were falling apart because comp changed vendors after 2006 the clip that holds them together would break and the lifter would fall apart , the morrells are too expensive.
I make 740 RWHP @15 psi and those LS7 lifters are working great
