Tick Tap noise Does anyone have a clue on why my car has a tick tap noise sounds like it coming from the lifters i did just install i built motor so everything is pretty much new i am running an ms4 cam with comp cam rockers and comp stock lifters and engine has been broken in properly it just started tick taping u cant hear it when the car is cold but once it warms up its louder im am using mobil 1 10w-30 syn
I'm having the same trouble with my setup. I have MS3 cam w/ PRC double valve springs and TSP forged pushrod. I checked to see if any rocker arms were loose, and pulled the pushrods to see if one was bent. Everything looked fine so I'm
Assuming it's my stock lifters. I would say check your rocker arms, and pushrods first to see if that's the prob. Easy fix there. If not either if those, then check lifters. Just my .02
