Yeah i put everything together very slowly this time (not that i didn't last time) but everything was inspected and done very carefully. A gauge is in the works. Have a blessed week yourself (not to many people believe in telling anyone that anymore).

Why are you guys using such thick oil?? Factory specs 10-w30 for warm climates and 5-w30 for cold climates. The thicker oil may have been the way to go with older performance applications (SBC stuff Gen I) where the clearances were not as tight as an ls1. I would never put a 20-50 in any LS1, built or not. Just my .02

My clearances aren't as tight as a stock LS1 block. My builder strongly recommended it and it works.

Thanks man. I'll post some new vids this weekend of the new setup. As far as the stock specs for oil PSI, i'm quite sure someone will chime in on that. Don't wanna give out the wrong info.

I had about the same problem, my oil pressure was normal until I got into the upper rpms, it would drop from 60 to 20 once it got close to 6600 rpms. I pulled the motor and found lifters damaged and the lobes on the cam ruined. You may want to cut your oil filter apart and see if there is any metal in there, there was in mine.

Default 2001 corvette oil pressure sensor relocation kit

I have read the forums and found 1 company that offers a relocation kit for my cars oil pressure sensor the problem is it seems that the company Total performance engineering is no longer in business. They offered a plug and play kit for $90.00 dollars do you guys know if there is any other company offering this kit at a reasonable price as well as the plug and play version thanks ED
