Start tearing it apart, that oil pressure is way low and its fluctuating badly, Somethings broken. If i were you i wooooood pull the oil filter and cut it open to see whats collected in it. post up pictures. If it has silver flakes and copper in it you have a bad bearing.

i really dont really see anything bad about the oil pressure.. it rises when you give it some gas thats what it is supposed to and rule of thumb u only need 10psi of oil pressure per 1000 rpms

His oil pressure looks fine to me too.

OP, pull the valve covers and start looking. I wouldn't keep starting it and trying to make more videos of it.

That's what I was thinking. Hopefully its something simple I can fix if not its for sale would like to have 6 out of it but probably won't happen. I do have the oil filter though. From when I changed it a few days ago. It was in her whenever whatever happened to it happened. Will post more tomorrow

the noise isnt good but the oil pressure is right at 40#s at idle which is fine. how much r thinking he needs to have at idle ?? and by the video when he steps on the gas the pressure climbs .....

I agree it doesnt sound good but i wouldnt say rods quite yet take the valve covers off and examen them. My oil psi is very similiar to that around 40 at idle and jumps up when i give it gas. Usually when a rod lets go you get very little oil pressure or oil pressure that fluctuate 10-20lbs while idling.

like said before, sounds kindof like a push rod bent or broke to me or rocker arm. and im still scratching my head on the "oil pressure way off". mine ran at 40 psi at idle and just went up with throttle like his has and mine never made that craptastic noise.

ya the more im listening to it the more i think it sounds valvetrain related. there is no rhythm to it like ther usually is with a rod and it doesnt stay consistent with rpms plus it sounds like its coming from the top not the bottom. pull the covers and inspect the rockers and PR's

your right, i can hold the rpms steady and theres absolutly no consistancy to the tapping. sounds like a drummer on crack that cant carry a tune. well im about to attempt to pull the covers off. this may take a while seeing how im at work and im not that mechanicly enclined!

oil pressure looks fine.

no idea on the problem. bad bearings aren't necessarily consistent. i've rolled a few haha and none of them acted the same except for having trash in the oil filter.

pull the valve covers. it is the best place to start and easy to do. if there was anything in the oil i'm guessing you would've seen it during the oil change.

good luck.

What's taking so long? Instead of taking videos pull the valve covers it takes a whopping 10 min to remove them. Have yourself a look at everything, look at the rockers very well and pull out all the pushrods and roll them across a glass table to see if they are straight.

it was internal. started on #6. its out and apart now. will need a gasket kit, rod bearings, cam bearings, lifters, harmonic balancer bolts, oil pump, water pump, probably a compete set of pistons (only needs 3 but..) rod bolts, head bolts,.......flywheel and clutch kit
not to mention the new fuel pump i just put in. so my question is...what way to turn now? good rebuild kit? i would want stock or close to it. or find a motor at a junk yard? or sell the thing as is? offers?
