the eigth didgit I'm wanting to put an LS engine into my 1956 post, I just finished installing C-4 Corvette suspension front and rear but can't decide on which engine I should be looking for.This is just a car for crusing, I have another car for racing. All my other cars have a gen l in them and I want to crawl into the 21st century with the 56.
What is the eight didgit mean and where can I get a list explaining it?
I like the looks of the corvette, camero and gto engines but for what I plan on using the car for is the added expense justifiable, or should I stick with an engine like a LQ9 and dress it up a bit?
