Default Head Cleaning

I just pulled the ported LS6's off to replace with 227's so I am going to sell the LS6's. Whats the best way to clean these heads up before I sell them?

use some degreaser or gas and a scott brite pads for the chambers..to clean out the ports ,face the port up and fill with solvent and let soak for a day or 2.use a firm tooth brush to remove the carbon.do a finally rinse with carb cleaner.
